We are a growing community of skillful, caring people interrupting abuse and violence through acolhimento (welcoming care) and collective well-being.
We are a movement and a service. We live in our community with intention, creating spaces where people can be accepted as they are and where healing, belonging, and transformation are possible.

Healing that honours you and our Earth.
With your support we are building an integrated herbal farm & apothecary offering ethically sourced, organic, and locally grown herbs, along with private consultations.

We prioritise events in the broad fields of education, health and social action and most of our events are hosted by women.

Casula
When a woman arrives at Casula, she doesn't enter just a shelter. She enters a whole ecosystem where healing, learning, and belonging are built in.
Casula is a one of a kind, farm and community based shelter for women and their children who are seeking sanctuary from domestic / intimate partner abuse or violence.
In addition to receiving personalised support, residents are able to participate in any of our community offerings hosted by Comadres including the larger workings of the farm. We intend that this provides a place to rest, heal and be supported which is as cozy as it is inspiring. Because all of us deserve to know the beauty and power of feeling safe, respected and valued.
